Describibg people

Today we´re dealing with describing people´s appearance. To show you, why it is so important, please look at the picture and read the dialogue:


Now we´re going to learn new vocab referred to apperance. These pictures will help you:





Now we learn what are the compound adjectives and how to use them. Here are examples:

left-handed
brown-haired
blue-eyed
white-dressed
middle-aged

Let´s try now to recognize the emotional colouring of some the adjectives. Which are positive, negative or neutral? Remember that we always try to use polite expressions to describe people and that´s why we avoid those of the negative reference, e.g: fat, ugly, skinny. What are their neutral/positive synonyms?
(chubby/plump/rounded, not very good looking, slim).
